Teacher Training

Training Location

Home with a Heart teacher training is a one-day conference held on a regular basis at the lovely Crossroads Centre in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. This building is a television studio and home to 100 Huntley Street television show. Training takes place in a bright classroom setting. (Please note that Crossroads Centre is a training facility only and not the administrative office of Home with a Heart.)

Requirements for Attendance

1. Register for Teacher Training. Click here to download a PDF version of the Registration Form.
2. Order the Organization Training Set.
   (Note: Organizations may purchase the Teacher Training Set for the training and then order the number of Home with a Heart Sets needed for participants or the Organization Training Set closer to the date the school commences.)

Fee Structure

• $100 per attendee plus applicable taxes
• Fee includes training, certification and light breakfast

Lunch on Site                                      12:30 pm – 1:15 pm

Lunch

There is a lovely cafeteria at the Crossroads Centre available to buy coffee before the training and to purchase lunch. However, the cafeteria is not open on Saturdays so if the training date is scheduled for a Saturday, please bring a lunch. Coffee will be served on Saturday training days.

If traveling from QEW Niagara (route from Buffalo), it is best to turn left on Plains Road (called Fairview to the right). It is the second exit after the Burlington Skyway. Note that there is a skyway in St. Catharines as well, 30 minutes before. Go about 1 mile and turn right on King Road at McDonalds. Go about .85 km (½ mile) and turn right on North Service Road. Go about .85 km (½ mile) and building is on the left with a sign high on building.
